Bay Guardian, Camp Galileo is a summer day camp
where
kids enjoy art, science and outdoor
programming every day. This summer we are offering four exciting
weeks of curriculum: Ocean Expeditions, Mission to
the Moon & Psychedelic ‘60s, Amusement Park Engineers &
Medieval
Art
and Adventures in Flight & Egyptian Art.
Galileo Summer Quest (entering 5th
– 8th grades): Summer
fun
designed with older campers in mind! Design your perfect
summer
day, choosing from a selection of Majors,
such as Fashion Design,
Go-Karts and Video Game Design. Campers also
participate in two Minors from a
variety of topics, including Hip-Hop Dance, Science of Explosions and
Sports.

5th Grade Girls
Summer AAU Basketball Program at La Entrada
The Menlo Xtreme, a new local AAU Basketball Club, is
now forming a Monday evening
program for girls entering the 5th Grade in the Fall of
2010. The Menlo Xtreme is recruiting girls from any of our local area
schools. Each Monday evening, these two-hour
basketball “playdates” will include some skill training though the
central theme is for the participants to have an opportunity to play fun
and exciting Summer-time basketball games. Space is limited. For more

Panthers Camp
Panthers
Camp is designed exclusively for youth, 6 – 12 years of age (campers
younger than 6 must be entering 1st grade to be eligible to attend
camp). Panthers Camp is located at Corte Madera School in Portola
Valley and is directed by Dan Flahavan, CMS Athletic Director and
physical education instructor. Dan has over 22 years experience
developing and directing camps.
Campers
participate in a core group of physical activities, which enhance
self-confidence, cooperation, sportsmanship, lifelong fitness, and an
appreciation for a wide variety of sports.
